We’re looking for a Facilities Manager who excels in maintaining high-end commercial properties, optimizing building systems, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. About the Role:

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring optimal building performance, tenant satisfaction, and the seamless management of facilities staff and service vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Lead and manage Facilities Staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management

·      Build and maintain strong tenant relationships by ensuring facilities staff provide timely, high-quality service, addressing concerns proactively, and maintaining a well-managed property.

·      Oversee building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety) to ensure efficient operations and compliance.

·      Manage capital projects, tenant improvements, and construction by coordinating permits, contractors, and inspections.

·      Develop and manage budgets, vendor contracts, and maintenance programs for long-term asset preservation.

·      Ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence across common areas, workorders, and emergency preparedness.

What We're Looking For:

·       Experience: 10 years minimum of commercial building maintenance experience. 5 years minimum in managing commercial buildings.

·       People Management: 5-10 years minimum experience of successful people management. Ability to manage, teach, and mentor Facilities staff members for engagement and growth.

·       Certifications (Must Have): 07 Electrical Administrator License. City of Seattle Boilers License or equivalent. City of Seattle Refrigeration License or equivalent.

·       Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Able to read and understand architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.

·       Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve building system issues. Ability to provide quality solutions in difficult situations. Excellent problem solving skills.

·       Communication: Ability to build and maintain strong tenant and vendor relationships. Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

·       Flexibility: Willingness to be on-call for emergencies as needed. Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects at the same time.

·       Computer Skills: Intermediate to Advanced, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
