We are looking for a skilled Building Engineer to join our team and help keep our property running smoothly.

About the Role:

As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for are to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various electrical, HVAC, fire alarm/sprinkler, lift stations, and plumbing systems in a Class A Property. If you enjoy troubleshooting and working in a hands-on environment, this is a great opportunity to apply your expertise!

Key Responsibilities:

·       The ability to operate in a professional manner and always represent the Property in an appropriate manner conducive to a Class A property

·       Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with electrical systems

·       Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with plumbing systems

·       Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with the HVAC controls system

·       Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with the buildings sprinkler system

·       Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with the lift station

·       The ability to actively communicate issues to multiple Department Heads and Managers to meet the needs of the property

What We're Looking For:

·       Experience: 5+ years in building maintenance, facilities operations, or a related field.

·       Certifications (Preferred): Electrical Safety Training, Refrigeration Operator Certification, Boiler Operator Certification, Forklift Safety Training Card (preferred), CPR & Basic First-Aid Certification (preferred)

·       Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

·       Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve building system issues.

·       Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills.

·       Flexibility: Willingness to be on-call for emergencies as needed.

·       Computer Skills: Basic, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Type: Full-time, 8 hour shift during the day, Monday through Friday

Pay: Inquire for salary information | Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience: Commercial Office Building Engineer or equivalent: 5 years (Required)
